Dar es Salaam: FastJet official charged

Manager of flight operations with East Africa’s low-cost airline, FastJet, Ms Emma Donovan, appeared in court on Tuesday charged with using abusive language.

State attorney Nasoro Katuga told Ilala District Magistrate’s Court that was being presided over by magistrate Joyce Minde in the city that the accused insulted Mr Samson Itinde on March 19, this year.

Ms Donovan denied the charge and the magistrate adjourned the case until April 9. The accused was bailed out. According to the charge sheet, Ms Donovan insulted her co-worker, Mr Itinde, using abusive language.

Ms Donovan, who is the citizen of the UK, was arrested at the end of last week after being hunted for a couple of days.
