Terror suspects killed, police officers injured in Nairobi raid

Two terror suspects were killed and six police officers injured on Sunday morning during an operation in Nairobi's Githurai estate.

The two suspects who are a couple were shot dead by police after a 10 hour battle that began at around 10pm on Saturday night.

A senior police officer leading the operation at the couple's residence in Githurai estate together with his five other colleagues were injured after one of the suspects hurled a grenade at them.
